Hot Days, Cool Events

We’re only in mid-June and temps keep climbing! But we’re cooking up all kinds of cool events to keep the summer moving along for our students!

We kicked off the summer by attending a (winning!) Cardinals baseball game, thanks to Cardinals Care and our Kulture volunteers for helping make it possible!

Our next big event was hosting an end of the school year party, complete with rooftop ice cream sundaes, entertainment from Christian rap artist Reuben Jones, speaking by Chip Pagel from Halls Ferry Christian Church, and other games and activities. We are incredibly grateful to God, our regular Tuesday leaders, Salem church members, and former Kulture leaders for helping make these types of events happen. We are also thankful to our partners who help support us in prayer and finances so our students can make these memories!

We have all kinds of other events coming up soon, brought in part by our 3 Kulture interns. They are helping with Vacation Bible School for Salem, planning Kulture events and Tuesday night games, and will be cleaning and reorganizing some of the Kulture resources and spaces.

Keep an eye out for our next events, coming up very soon!
